ButcherBox started with a Kickstarter campaign that worked really well. We went out to raise 25 grand, we raised 215 grand. And then we did like our revenue curve was like 5 million a year,. 103 million, 225, 450, 550. And we'll do about 600 this year. That is so much more impressive than any unicorn feed. I think it's an important thing for founders to understand.
Mike Salguero is the founder and CEO of ButcherBox, a revolutionary direct-to-consumer meat business that transformed eCommerce when it launched in 2015. Salguero founded the company as a side project, but quickly scaled it into a thriving business with over half-a-billion dollars in annual revenue in 2022.
