The House of David
The House of Jehu would rule for a century. Its first two rulers would exert little influence outside their capital city of Samaria. The Assyrian king had only laid his foot on J. Hu's neck and demanded tribute. It says something when the Assyrians are only your second worst problem. Haseil erected what we now call the Tel Dan stealing. This is a triumphal inscription in Aramaic, celebrating a victory over the Hebrew.
