The Pharisees and the Prophets Are Not Bound to a Particular Place, but to the Kingdom of Heaven

In Matthew 5, 17, Stephen says that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and the Pharisees, you will never enter into the kingdom of heaven. And he sets it up in a rather provocative way there in Matthew 5,. But fast forward through Acts 7, because that's where Stephen basically shows that God was never bound to a particular place. He could appear to Abram outside of the Holy Land. He could do the Exodus in Egypt.
