When I went down to Florida for rehab, I really had no intention of staying sober because at the time I just felt like I was doing what my friends were doing. It's fucked up how normalized it is. You really can't get help until you recognize that you have a problem. So I always looked at like the relationship as the problem where I'm living is the problem. And I thought that those external things would fix what was going on inside and they didn't.
