Three artists have filed a lawsuit against Stability, A.I., DeviantArt, and Midjourney due to copyright infringement. They say images contained in the Lion dataset were downloaded and used by these generators without compensation or consent from those artists. The three also expressed concern, saying that they had to stick up for their profession and hard work before they were effectively replaced by a machine.
