Transformers the movie is a 1986 animated sci-fi motion picture. It was produced at the same time as G.I. Joe, and by the same group of people. To make the movies seem more powerful, they decided that they would kill off both of the leaders of G.I.: Joe and Optimus Prime in Transformers the movie.
