Reddit's Disappointment
Reddit has spent a decade retconning its earliest terrible days, right? And it still is pretty terrible in some places. But at least over the last few years, and to his credit, like Huffman has been pretty vocal about shutting down dangerous subreddits or making it very clear that Reddit is willing to spend money to moderate them. It's done that, I think better than a lot of other social networks. The only reason why the API went free in the first place was because their app was absolute crap for so long.
