The Bike Path Rapist

Linda Yalam's body was found yesterday along the Ellicott Creek bike path in Amherst. The 22-year-old UB sophomore had been training for Marathon. Ironically her disappearance and death came 16 years to the day Linda Yalam was killed on the Amherst bike path. In 1994 he struck again raping a 14 year old on her way to school raising the number of rape victims to nine. But then he simply stopped, disappeared until 2006 when he killed Joan Diver on the anniversary of his first murder.
