How to Give Yourself Permission to Do That
I think physically, i will play better if i'm not playing four hours or five hours a day the week of. The row methodis is great for getting it in the hands and all that, but the week before it's there. I've just found that if i overpractise them, i actually they start to get a little bit worse. Also, i don't want to peak too soon or burn out either. So keeping it fun and just sort of like a reward system. Especially if it's been going on for six weeks or more then it's physically probably a really good idea. And mentally, just keep yourself excited about life and being fulfilled in other ways.
