A new 12-story luxury residential tower has been announced in Miami, Florida. This is designed by Zahaadi Architects and features a glass-bottomed pool linking two towers. The most interesting part of this project is actually rising on the site of the former Champlain Towers south condo that collapsed in the middle of the night back in June 2021. 98 people lost their lives when the building collapsed around 1am on the 24th of June 2021. It's still ongoing, but it looks like it was a poor maintenance of the concrete structure and the pool,. Some of the water going down and eroding steel in the concrete underneath the pool which is pretty shocking.
