DAPPA glyphlose in patients with a median EGFR of 43 and a median urinary albumin creatinine ratio of 965 reduced the primary outcome of sustained decline in GFR 50% or death from renal or cardiovascular causes by 39%. Now, this was a very large 5.2% absolute risk reduction, and it was highly statistically significant. DAPPA also reduced a composite of cardiovascular death and heart failure hospitalization by a statistically significant 29%. And in DAPPA CKD, a third of patients did not have diabetes.
