The Simulocra of the Signed Relationship
Baudrillard says that if you have a simple sign signified relation, so where this thing is a sign of this is the thing that's signified. And I don't know if you've read Baudrillard on this with not sign Simulocra, but the simplest way. That you can end up in a scenario where the sign takes precedent over the thing signified to such a degree that it becomes aSimulocra of the sign. To insist otherwise is ultimately to appeal to something outside of the human, ultimately God.
