Deogenes: There seems to be something very different though in terms of, for example, if you starve a plant of water or you burn a tree and how the organism responds. And then you register parts and experience and you have an emotional set of emotions about that experience. Deogenes: If people are in camp one, my arguments about AI are unlikely to carry much weight. But if you think there is something special, at least for now, in the distinction between one and scenario two, then we probably have somewhere to go.
