There seems to be a significant financial strain in china, not only now in the real estate sector. There's been some monetary easing, but not quantitative easing. Weakening of the chinese currency has mostly manifested itself so far. Ultimately, as we learnt from 20 20, if you're shutting down your economy, there's no fiscal and monetary stimulus you can do,. Any more than if you jam the brakes on your car, hitting the gas won't make it move forward.
