The Differences Between Catholics and Puritans

Both the pilgrims who arrived in 1620 and the Puritans that will arrive starting in 1630 were Calvinists. The main difference was that the pilgrims belonged to a group that considered the Church of England too corrupt to reform. King James had regularly had to deal with attempted kidnappings, attempted coups, at the end, attempted murders.
