My Childhood in Jackson, Mississippi

My mother and father were juniors and sophomores at Jackson State University when they met. My grandmother, she had the biggest garden in forest, which is a small poultry town about 45 miles outside of Jackson. She would get these live catfish people would just bring. I'd see her gut to catfish and scale them and clean them. So my memories with the land and food start.
