The Difficulty of Being Self-Employed
James started off as a nurse when he was 18, because he wasn't clever enough to be a doctor. The neurodevelopmental delay we often have with ADHD is by about two or three years. When I had my own business, I felt like, Oh my God, I'm responsible for people. And I've got to fucking carry on doing the same thing. So that was the difficulty. He's self-employed now, but it's very much a portfolio grid.
