Occupy Oakland and Beyond Occupied

The camp held the openness of people and really the wide range of individuals who were participating in collectives. A large number of unhoused neighbors who were there brought their own life experiences to bear on the project which i think was a powerful learning opportunity for a lot of people. The biggest general assembly was happened around windham move forward with the general strike. There were also general assemblies on things like issues around smoking and people's health and well-being in the space.
