The Drag Factor in Review Processes
There's a drag factor in review. If you want to do something that's methodologically new, it will end up on the desk of someone who has no interest in learning new methods. And their response will be, what is this fancy new fangled bollocks? But regardless, they'll want what they're familiar with. Well, I think it boils down to kind of editorial policy in some way.
