The Difference Between Misinformation and Disinformation
Disinformation is intentionally false and it's designed to create harm. It's usually motivated by economic or political reasons for the most part. While misinformation, which is particularly relevant to the social media sphere, is disinformation that is shared. Sometimes the person who's sharing this content, it doesn't know that it is false or misleading. So I think these are the sort of main distinctions.
