Kihalin wanted to find the other seven people that were in the paper as pseudopations. She talked to hundreds of people, including Rosnahan's family and his relatives and associates. Unfortunately, he was able to find only one of the original eight. But despite her exhaustive search, she could find no evidence of the other six having existed.
