Is There a Cure in Diffuse Large B Cell?
I don't think we have a good answer to this question of why do we cure aggressively in lymphoma and don't cure in the lentilinoma. A very simplistic explanation that we had years ago was that rapidly dividing cells are more susceptible to chemotherapy than quiescent cells. I think it's a little bit the simplistic approach. Maybe with targeted agent we will learn more. Maybe with immune-based therapy we will learnMore. We see no more and more follicle and lymphoma treated 10-15 years ago that haven't relapsed after frontline treatment.
