The Relationship Between Dance and Parkinson's Disease
Some research back in 2005 found that when people with Parkinson's engaged in recreational dance, it led to an improvement in some of their clinical symptoms. We were astounded to find that the act of dancing leads to these clinically significant clinically relevant improvements in people's well-being, physical, cognitive, and emotional. So yeah, there's a lot of benefit. And I think what people are seeing now is that actually moving your body has a profound impact on your brain and on your emotions. That can be used and targeted to improve a whole range of areas for people's well being.
