He was prevented from fighting in world war too, because he played this tremendously important role as a public intellectual. And so in some ways, as a sort of substitute, he sheltered children during world war too. He kind of o took children who were refugees from the bombing, took them out of the cities, out of london, and helped to keep them safe. That's part of the inspiration for fernarnia as well, right?
