I think we're a long ways from any one of them being obviously right but they're you know their idea that inside neurons are these little microtubules that are like scaffolding that hold the cell together. I'm inclined to Penrose's view because his ideas about consciousness were very much motivated by the question of whether computers can understand things. We need even bigger computers than when we can get at the moment if we really want to get down to the nitty gritty of climate change we need much bigger computers or access to much bigger computers. There's a really interesting kind of anomaly between the human brain and and a computer which is that computers are unbelievably energy intensive.
