The creative process is an absolutely humbling process and part of that process is the recognition of the flaws in your prima material as a creator. You only get to the glistening potential by destroying and purifying and sublimating that raw material into something that actually is treasure. I think there's just various phases that you have to pass through and one of those is sort of, as he said, there's a long gestation period of like figuring out who you are what it is that you're really trying to do.
