The Origins of Beddy Boop
"i'm a huge fan of beddy boop too because yeah i have a giant head and so i really felt represented," she says. "I wouldn't want someone to feel sorry for me like oh you're a latina and like the only dolls you could like were like barbie and beddy Boop but it's like i was cool with it." She adds that people tend to ascribe meaning to a lot of kids like decisions and how they play, which makes her more in control as an adult. 'It's kind of weird how some of them continue on into the culture and some of them just taper off,' Giorgio says about his favorite doll lines.
