The State of the Intellectual Debate in France
The state of the intellectual debate is much healthiere in france. It drove home to me just how much the united states has changed since i first arrived a dozen years ago. The overwhelming majority of voices you hear in thepublic space, ar form of coms, official comes operative for their respective political spaces. I hope that it won't be what the united states will feel like in ten or 12 years. We all should try to swim against that.
