Why Aren't We Just Taking It for Granted?

The movie could have easily explained that away and been like, you see a reinforcement of Earth Defense force people. I just thought that was just bizarre. They're missing elements of a human character that would make it feel more realistic. There's no sympathy for the villain in this movie. It's not like Thanos where you're like, I kinda get what he's doing in some ways. The next movie will be about climate change in the atmosphere because my guess is that they're gonna start like nuking stuff to terraform so they can breathe. That's what I think will happen. But there could totally be a future where we've just gone back to thinking colonization is okay
