The Power of Second Nature

We become increasingly more disposed to give, to love. As we perform acts of kindness and word or deed, we become kind. And we choose our second nature along the way. Our second nature can be one where we are free, having that property of a perfected free will. Or we could say outside of this picture, where we've chosen over the course of a lifetime, a whole series of counterfeit goods. We have acquired a second nature that has warped us and undermined us as human beings.
