The Virus Is Making Mutations to Evade Antibodies
Virus is making mutations for a purpose, and it seems to be that several of the key mutations, particularly for b a four and five, are there to confer ev tion from antibodies. To an extent, the fact that these new saberians are becoming dominant suggests that the antibody evasion plays a role in their advantage, allowing them to spread more. So the mutations clearly play a rol. But the vaxcine protection is also not optimal, in the sense that the antibodies that are elicited by the vaxines do not penetrate all that well into the nose, mouth of the pharynx.
