The Evolution of Podcasting
The author of a book about podcasting has been doing scholarly podcasting for quite some time. He says he thinks there is the potential to really liberate knowledge in many different ways. Some people are trying to play it or use it maybe for their personal prestige as well, and I think that's the fear they could get pulled into the scholarly publishing machine. ButI still think there's a lot of hope there, a lot of potential for creating something which is genuinely transformative potentially in academia and scholarship more broadly.
