Digital Exclusion for the Elderly
I wonder if there's something about the fact that obviously we've got an aging population. A huge amount of NHS budgets is attributed to providing care and support for them. I think how do we design services that work for the elderly as well but also work for the different needs of someone say growing up in a no socio-economic background who has never had a laptop or a tablet and doesn't therefore have the skills they might need to access health services over a laptop or health services in another digitally enabled way. If you can tailor those services it brings everyone up, says Lord Heseltine.
