Nixon's Space Doctrine
Nixon's space doctrine was a big change from Kennedy and Johnson's more ambitious policies. Nixon deprioritized the space program, Shutter to Apollo, and ended plans for future human space flight beyond low Earth orbit. He did carry forward their hopes for cooperation in space with the Soviets.
