Is a Merger a Good Idea?
I think the way you have described your approach to remedies suggests a greater skepticism about remedies than at least some of your predecessors. That's a different question from whether a merger that might substantial less in competition has the ability to raise prices for life-saving pharmaceuticals. We have to look it out on the facts. All I'm saying is, it's important to understand that the policies and the decisions we make may have effects on people. It's case by case, fact by fact. But there are real-world consequences. You know that as well as I do, which is that these are often very complicated scenarios.
