Professor Richard Brown is head of metrology at the UK's National Physical Laboratory. His dad alerted him to an idea for a new unit that would start with letters not in use for other prefixes or units. The power of more or less didn't quite work in the way Rob Eastway hoped, but we certainly had an influence. We're now at the stage where these are officially adopted.
