Introduction
We're in a bull market for consumer brands, but now it's like directing consumers dead. I've been hit up multiple times by publications about my thoughts on direct to consumer being dead. People overreacted and we're naive and tried to take advantage of certain things that didn't pay off. There are commonalities between e-commerce and SaaS businesses; the most important thing is not losing sight of what these businesses do well.
