You Are Not to Be Called Instructors for You All Have One Teacher

In Matthew's gospel, Jesus tells his disciples you are not to be called instructors for you all have one instructor. And neither are people to call you teachers because again,you all have one teacher, the Messiah. So he puts them all on the unequal level of playing and it seems to me that it cannot be true that everybody in the church is a student if there are persons within the church with unquestionable authority.
