Can You Be a Writer if You're Not Comfortable With Yourself?
Can you be a writer if you're not comfortable with yourself in your own company? I would say very few writers are comfortable with themselves. It was my discovery of Redwood trees at the age of 55 that made me realize that I've been blind to almost everything that life is doing in focusing exclusively on the human. To hold in my hand a mineralized version of what was once a living thing that was turning minerals into biology defies anyone's ability to wrap their head around.
