The Edinburgh Fringe: A Mishmash of Leasing Agents
I've been coming to the Fringe since 2005. And were this the landscape that I was performing in as a newcomer? I just wouldn't have been able to afford to come to Edinburgh. It would not have been an option. There's nothing else like it creatively. But I'm lucky in that I will be able to cover that cost because after those, you know, what is it, 18 years,. I've built up enough of a following that I sell enough tickets to pay those kind of figures. He got quoted 8,000 pounds for a three bedroom flat for the month when he was looking. So really the landlords, the government, the letting the agents need to do something
