The Importance of Subjectivity in Qualitative Research

Do you think it's just objectivity that makes people hesitant to step into their identities? I'm thinking, you know, a lot of qualitative researchers will appreciate and acknowledge that knowledge is to a large extent subjective. And again, that probably leans on that objectivity still, doesn't it? Like the idea of researchers being this neutral fact-finding group of people that go out, do research, find knowledge, and then report it back. But it's much more complicated than that. There are other reasons that we might be hesitant to talk about ethical dilemmas.
