Is Justice for the Child or for the Family the Imperative?
The judge in this case decided that since the baby was at home, and since the parents had done well under supervision, they didn't need to have a court hearing. The benefit of finding out what happened is largely illusory - the child too young, highly unlikely the parents would accept the findings. So is justice for the child or for the family the imperative? Or is it actually we need to speed things up a little bit because we've got too many things waiting?
