A Catamaran With No Spreaders, Is That a Good Idea?

Masts are just the further you have a thicker mass. So that's why you often see e, like the aericas cup boats, before they had t wing sails, had four or five sets of spreaders because the mast as was really skinny to save that weight aloft. Ah, lee, your bour boat has an external rudder. I think if i were doing the race, i would want that because it's much easier to service at sea than a rudder that you'd have to mess with under water if it's attached to the back of the keel.
