Charlie and the Essay
Charlie felt like a very conflicted character. He seems to be centering everything on this almost ethic of honesty what he's valuing above all else is honesty and that's why the essay is good because she was being honest but he's trying to get his students to just write honestly. The movie laid all of that out but then I I end up feeling very conflicted watching that play out. It left me with mixed feelings it clearly doesn't solve anything. When Thomas has his honest moments where he instead of like pretending that he wants to help Charlie he does reveal that he has feelings of disgust towards him not just because of his physical appearance but also because of his sexual orientation.
