Nietzsche calls the Protestant Reformation wild in vulgar and indulgent of all these like impulses, because it basically released the realm of religion from being controlled by a sort of aristocracy. And so that's not entirely a negative, but this is why Nietzsche calls them "wild" But as we're going to see as we go throughout this passage, that isn't necessarily quote unquote bad; there's great potential for new things.
