Heliolink 3D: A Next Generation Asteroid Discovery Algorithm
This chapter discusses the development and success of a next generation asteroid discovery algorithm called Heliolink 3D. The algorithm, being developed by a team at the University of Washington's Dirac Institute, has identified its first potentially hazardous asteroid. The algorithm is being prepared for the Verice Rubens 10-year Sky Survey and aims to improve the detection and tracking of near-Earth asteroids.
