Is There Something Important About Science That Simplifies Things?
Ean: Is there something important in simplifying the world and seeing it as things rather than as processes? I was just saying that this way of looking at the world works quite well in a narrow focus vision of some very small part. But my point is that you can't go from there to deducing that reality is effectively static, we have known from physics for more than a hundred years, won't sustain a view of the cosmos. Much better is to think of time as something that can only be broken up into bits after the fact. Ean thinks, very much again.
