The Wrong End of the Telescope
The book was an attempt to do what i do with any other book, which is right about characters who are alive and complex. I think it's a very powerful book. It made me laugh and cry. Its emotional intensities became very real to me. Although i have never visited lesbos, i felt that i was there with your characters. And more important, i feel that the ongoing death of reading in our own time represents a failure of empathy. We are not taught to be ampathetic frequently. Plays or novels are the place that we learn.
