The Debt Ceiling Standoff

Treasury reports federal revenues were $4.9 trillion last year, up from just about $3.9 trillion in 2019. Revenue collection also rose from 16% of total economic output to 20%. Washington never even collected a trillion dollars total in any year before 1997. Both parties should be asking where is all the money going?
