If you've already got to walk your dog anyway, I mean, you might as well like improve your health. One 30 minute bout of exercise at the end of the day is not as effective for mortality risk as three 10 minute walks periodically throughout the day. Just get up and move around for five minutes an hour or take a deliberate 10 minute walk three or four times a day when the opportunity presents itself.
